Assigned to Anakin by Yoda in the 2008 The Clone Wars film, Ahsoka Tano serves as his Padawan throughout the series and is often nicknamed “Snips.” By contrast, Barriss Offee is Luminara Unduli’s Mirialan apprentice who later frames Ahsoka for a Jedi Temple bombing; Aayla Secura is a Twi’lek Jedi Knight mentored by Quinlan Vos; and Asajj Ventress is a Dathomirian Dark Side assassin apprenticed to Count Dooku, not a Jedi Padawan.
