Which bird family includes parrots?

The story behind the answer

Psittacidae is the family of the “true parrots,” including macaws, Amazons, parakeets, and lovebirds. Parrots share key traits: a powerful, curved bill for cracking seeds and nuts, a flexible tongue, and zygodactyl feet (two toes forward, two back) for climbing and grasping food. Their relatively large brains enable problem-solving and vocal learning, which is why many species can mimic human speech.
