Almond Joy is not made by Mars; it’s a Hershey product. The bar originated with the Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing Company (creator of Mounds) and became part of The Hershey Company after a 1988 acquisition. By contrast, Snickers, Twix, and M&M’s are flagship brands of Mars.
