Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia, set on the Gulf of Finland across from Helsinki. Famous for its UNESCO-listed medieval Old Town, it blends Hanseatic history with a high-tech present; Estonia’s pioneering e-government and startups (including Skype) have earned it the nickname “e-Estonia.”
