The story behind the answer

Prometheus is correct. In Greek myth, this clever Titan defied Zeus by stealing divine fire—often said to be smuggled in a hollow fennel stalk—and gifting it to humanity. Fire symbolized knowledge and technology, enabling cooking, metalwork, and civilization. For this transgression, Zeus chained Prometheus to the Caucasus, where an eagle devoured his regenerating liver daily, until Heracles eventually freed him.
