As Deputy Headmistress and Head of Gryffindor, she’s renowned for her exacting standards and mastery of this demanding branch of magic—she’s even a registered Animagus who can transform into a tabby cat. By contrast, Pomona Sprout teaches Herbology, Filius Flitwick teaches Charms, and Severus Snape is primarily the Potions master (later Defense Against the Dark Arts).
