The story behind the answer

Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, earned the nickname “the Kingmaker” for his decisive role in placing and replacing monarchs during the Wars of the Roses. He helped the Yorkist Edward IV seize the throne in 1461, then, after a bitter falling-out, switched to the Lancastrians and briefly restored Henry VI in 1470—the “Readeption.”
