Who betrays Han and Leia on Cloud City?

The story behind the answer

On Bespin’s Cloud City, the Baron Administrator agrees to lure the heroes into an Imperial trap, hoping to protect his citizens from occupation. The deal quickly worsens—“I am altering the deal”—and Han is frozen in carbonite and turned over to a bounty hunter. Guilt pushes the Administrator to reverse course and help the group escape.

Don’t confuse the roles: Boba Fett is the bounty hunter who claims the carbonite prize; Darth Vader orchestrates the ambush; Lobot, the Administrator’s cybernetically linked aide, actually helps free the prisoners. The Administrator later redeems himself by joining the Rebellion and leading the strike on the second Death Star.
