In A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, Luke wields the lightsaber he inherits from Anakin via Obi-Wan, which has a blue blade. Green is the color of the replacement he builds in Return of the Jedi, red is the hallmark of Sith weapons like Vader’s, and purple is famously carried by Mace Windu, not Luke.

That original saber is lost when Vader severs Luke’s hand on Cloud City; decades later it resurfaces with Maz Kanata in The Force Awakens.
