Draupnir is Odin’s gold ring that magically multiplies: every ninth night it “drips” eight new rings of equal weight. Its Old Norse name means “the dripper.” Forged by the master dwarves Brokkr and Sindri in a wager with Loki, Draupnir symbolizes inexhaustible wealth, kingship, and the cyclical nature of prosperity.

In the myths, Odin lays Draupnir on his son Baldr’s funeral pyre; later it is brought back from Hel by Hermod, emphasizing its sacred status.
