The story behind the answer

Loki is the Norse trickster god—a shapeshifter who creates problems and sometimes solves them with cunning. Unlike Odin (wisdom and rulership), Thor (thunder and protection), or Freyr (fertility and prosperity), Loki thrives on mischief and ambiguity. He causes Baldr’s death, fathers Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and Hel, and—in horse form—becomes the mother of Odin’s eight-legged steed, Sleipnir.

Memory tip: Loki = “low-key” rule breaker. As Odin’s blood-brother of giant origin, he moves between loyalties, embodying the unpredictable edge of the Norse cosmos—useful, dangerous, and ultimately destined to turn against the gods at Ragnarök.
