The story behind the answer

In canon, the Republic’s wartime clone force is given a specific, grandiose title in Attack of the Clones and throughout The Clone Wars. The distractors sound plausible but aren’t used on-screen or in official sources: “Senate Army,” “Federal Army,” and “Defense Army” never appear as formal designations.

Context: The army was commissioned in secret by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas and grown on Kamino from Jango Fett’s template. Once the Senate granted emergency powers to Chancellor Palpatine, it was deployed against the Separatists, defining the Clone Wars era. This force later became the backbone of the fledgling Empire, executing Order 66 and transitioning into Imperial military structures.
