Strawberry isn’t a true berry in botanical terms. True berries develop from a single ovary and have seeds embedded in their fleshy pulp. A strawberry is an aggregate accessory fruit: the red part is swollen receptacle tissue, and the real fruits are the tiny dry achenes (the “seeds”) on its surface.

Surprisingly, blueberry, banana
