With which Greek philosopher would you associate the phrase, "I know that I know nothing"?

Answer

Socrates

The story behind the answer

Socrates is linked to “I know that I know nothing” because, in Plato’s Apology, he explains that his wisdom lies in recognizing his own ignorance. After the Oracle of Delphi called him the wisest Athenian, Socrates tested this by questioning experts. His Socratic method (elenchus) exposed that many who claimed knowledge couldn’t justify it—whereas he admitted his limits.
