The story behind the answer

The infamous emergency directive issued by Palpatine commanded the clone army to turn on and eliminate their Jedi commanders, a betrayal enforced by Kaminoan-implanted inhibitor chips. It specifically targets Jedi leadership. By contrast, Order 65 authorizes removing the Chancellor if deemed unfit by the Senate and the Security Council; 67 and 99 are not the Jedi-purge contingency (and 99 is better known as the designation of a heroic maintenance clone, not an order).

This moment catalyzed the Great Jedi Purge and the fall of the Republic. First depicted in Revenge of the Sith and expanded in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, it shows how Darth Sidious weaponized hidden programming in the clones to dismantle the Jedi and consolidate power into the Galactic Empire.
